The XL6009 DC-DC regulator can generate positive or negative output voltages with a wide input range. With built-in N-channel power MOSFET and fixed frequency oscillator, the current mode architecture is stable over a wide range of supply and output voltages. In addition, XL6009 has built-in frequency compensation, soft start function, thermal shutdown function, current limiting function, etc. It is a voltage regulator specially designed for portable electronic equipment applications.

It is used to replace the boost circuit on the hash board of Antminer, Whatsminer, Avalon and Iceriver miners.
